The woman put the meal into a chest and when she would take some out of it one day the same amount as was at first would be in it when she would go to it again. One day the woman was away from home and her daughter went to the chest to get the meal. Next day when the woman went to the chest there was no meal there, as the fairy's gift was ended, all instead of part of the meal been taken by the girl.
