  1. Last week three brothers called John, James, and Joe Thomas, were working in a bog at a half acre. One of them struck his spade against something which was very hard. They wondered what it was. They kept on digging and at last unearthed a tin jar. They opened it and inside found a white substance which they believe is butter. They have no idea how long this jar has been buried. The neighbours told them to send a report of it to the newspapers.
Some think the jar must have lain there since the time of the "Molly Maguires".
