  1. Once upon a time there lived a husband and his wife near here. One day the man went to the town for his wants. When he was coming home he saw the garden covered with white. When he reached home he asked the wife what made the garden so white. She said that a cricket ran into the flourbag, and that she shook the flourbag in the garden.
    Another day the man went away to work. He came back in the evening with five pounds. He gave it to his wife and told her to leave it by for the "sore foot". She left it by. One day a man with a sore foot came in and asked for help. She gave him the five pounds. When
