  1. Once upon a time there lived a man with his step-mother. They were very poor, and all they had was one cow. One day the step-mother sent the man, whose name was Seán, to the fair to sell the cow. As he was going into the fair he saw a show-man with a board on which a bee was dancing and playing music. They made an exchange and he went back to his step-mother. She said , "You made good work. Did you sell the cow". He said he did and she asked, "how much did you get for her"? He said "wait till I show you". Then he took out the board, the bee and the music and began to play before the woman. The woman was not
