- (continued from previous page)was found by Patrick Kelly in the old walls near where the stone was found. There is no doubt that a person was once buried here but no trace of the remains can be found.
- Our ancestors had no electric lights nor Alladdin lamps. The only light they had was fur [fir?] and rush candles.
This is the way a rush candle is made. You remove the outer covering from the rush except a little piece at the bottom. Then you put it beside the(continues on next page)- Collector
