    It is all right n she follows
    It is unlucky to meet a woman when setting out on a journey; very unlucky to meet a red haired woman.
    Unlucky to see the new moon through glass
    It is not lucky to pull nuts off an “Alt”
    And it is unlucky to carry “cands” [?] after 12 p.m.
    It is unlucky for a tame pigeon to come to the house
    These things are widely known among the people. Senior pupils have all heard these
