  1. Issac Morrow of Thrushbank cures strains. His father and mother were of the same name. (This cure is still believed in) James Morrow Haugh leads children who are suffering from “Mumps.” He puts on a bridle on the patient and brings him to a “drinking-place,” where he kneels downs [sic] and drinks
    James Friel, who owns the farm next to the School cures a “bleeding.” This cure was handed down to him from his father. He is not a native of this district but he has performed the cure a few times since coming here.
    Cancer cures are made by people named Gildea a couple of miles from Lough Eske.
