  1. The names of the different roads in this Parish are the Coach Road, Mountain Road, Finger Post Road, Townawilly Road and the Lough Eske Road.
    Coach Road:-- It is called the Coach Road because long ago it was the main road for the traffic and leads from Donegal to Ballybofey.
    Mountain Road:-- It is called the Mountain Road because it leads from the Main Road to the mountain.
    Finger Post Road:-- It is called the Finger Post Road because long ago there was a post and it was with two fingers on it, and it leads to Loghty.
    Townawilly Road:-- Is a road leading from the from the [sic] Main Road to Townawilly.
    Lough Eske Road:-- Is a road leading from the Main Road to Lough Eske Castle.
