  1. There were two giants in this district. It is said that one of them threw a stone from Barnes Gap to Hammons field in Townawelly. ON of these giants lived on Croughounagh and the other lived on lived on [sic] Croaghconnellagh.
    The one that was on Croaghconnellagh would light his pipe and smoke and when he would be finished smoking he would hand the pipe to the giant on Croghounagh. After both of them were done smoking they threw three stones which no person was able to shift.
    I am unable to hear anything about witches.
