  1. There are two graveyards in this parish. One of them is in Donegal and one is in Clar. The one that is in Donegal is called the Old Abbey and the one that is in Clar is called the Clar graveyard. People are buried in these two graveyards.
    Both of these graveyards are of a square shape. There is a ruin of an old monastery in the Old Abbey and some people are buried in this ruin. There is a lot of old crosses and tombstones in both of these graveyards.
    In this district there is one disused graveyard on the shore of Lough Eske. It is called “Rosken.”
    There is nobody buried outside the (ga) graveyard. Unbaptized children are not allowed to be buried in consecrated ground. They are buried in ground that is not consecrated.
