  1. Once there was a mission given by Jesuit Fathers in the parish of Dromore.
    When Sunday came the old Parish Priest had fowl from his own farm-yard for dinner.
    As a pair of fine fat chickens were dished up a summons came which took the Parish Priest out on a sick call. He asked the Holy Fathers to hold him excused and to help themselves.
    They did so and when the P.P. returned later the two chickens had entirely disappeared.
