    A good many years ago the families in each district used to ridicule each other in different ways.
    Two such families once lived in a certain townland. one day the woman of one of the families was coming from the market in Ballybofey, when she met the man of the other family.
    “Well” said he, “what was the butther a lb. in the market the day”. “I got eight pence a lb. for my butther” said she. “Oh” said he “what was the price of clane butther!”
