  1. One day Fionn Mac Cumhail and another giant were smoking on Croagh-sonna, near Barnesmore. They were wagering with one another and Fionn said he would throw a rock from his little finger to hit the church-steeple.
    He lifted the rock and threw it but it never reached the church. It dropped into Clogher river on Devlin’s farm, and is called the “Giant’s Stone”.
    Nuts called pig-nuts grow on it.
