It is said that there is treasure hidden in a fort in the townland of Drumlonagher. It is supposed to have been hidden there by the Danes in the years gone by. This treasure consists or is supposed to consist of gold and precious vessels. The true value of the treasure is not known, but it is supposed to be worth collecting.
The place where this treasure is hidden, it is supposed to be marked by a small thorn bush. It is supposed to be covered by a large flat stone, and very far underneath the ground.
