There is a tradition in the townland of Drumrooske that treasure is buried in the fort of Drumrooske a famous old fort which is situated about a mile and a quarter from Donegal town This fort is one of the most important forts in this part of the country and evidence of its former greatness may be seen from the great double mound which surrounds it.
    It is not surprising. then that many stories are current of hidden treasure being hidden in the fort.
    This treasure consists of gold and is estimated
