  1. There were many Graveyards in this district in olden times and some of them can still be seen. There is one in Birray which belongs to Mr. John Mangan and he has now crop of potatoes and corn in it. The old people remember a church being there and people being buried there. Some time ago man were widening the road at the of the Graveyard and they came upon Human teeth. There is said to be a ghost on the road there because one night a man was cutting a stick on the ditch and there came a foot round the turn.
