  1. On Christmas eve my mother always goes to buy things for Christmas. The children hand up their stockings for Santa Claus. On Christmas day the people go to church. It is the custom to have a goose or a turkey for dinner and a Christmas pudding after. On St Shephen’s day the boys used to go out hunting the wren, and saying rhymes.
