  1. About ten years ago there lived in Rossilly a very old woman named Jane Gallagher. She had a lot of money and she wanted twice as much more.
    She thought out a plan for getting more money.
    On the hill behind her house there was a fairy mound and lights were often seen about it. Jane rose early one misty morning and she went up to the fairy mound.
    As she was drawing near the mound she heard the tick tack of the fairy shoe maker.
