It was on a Saturday evening about seven years ago when daddy was coming from his work in Ballyshannon he saw a water horse in the Bridgetown river. When the horse noticed daddy looking over the bridge at him he disappeared down under the water. It stayed down under the water for about twenty minutes and then it rose up up again. Daddy was still watching it and he said it was like an ordinary horse but it had very long thin legs and it had a very short mane. He crouched behind the wall and watched the horse rolling over and lying on its back in the river. The horse was a hazel brown and it had very long ears.
