When you have the rose you should get the cure for it. You go to some one who has the cure and they give you a bit of their clothes then you go home and burn the cloth. You leave it there till its almost in ashes. Then you get a bit of fresh butter and mix it with it rub the mixture on three evenings after each other.
Mrs. Francis Gallagher of Greaghs has the cure.

Some people would not begin work on Friday or Saturday. It is said if you begin work on Saturday you will never finish it. People that are living in rented houses would not change on to another house.
