    mother must be the one name. They put donkeys winkers over their head and lead them across a brook between two townlands. When crossing the brook the person who is making the cure has to give three cups of water in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost to the person whom he is making the cure for.
    The cure for the toothache is to catch a living frog and put it into the mouth and keep it in until it squeels.
    The cure for the warts is, if a person happened to be in a field and come on a snail thoughtlessly then if he lift it up and rub it on the warts. Then tie a string on to the snail and hang it on a tree and while it is decaying the warts decay also.
    The person that makes the cure for the heart fevour [sic] gets a cup and fills it with oatmeal. The person that makes it ties a rag over the
