  1. About thirty years ago a man called Hugh Gallagher who lived in Pullinarenny, Ballintra P.O. Co Donegal found some silver coins in his own land. He was cleaning a drain when he found the coins which had a ring of sticks around them and the coins were placed one on the top of the other. Major Hamilton who then lived in Brownhall gave him money in exchange for the coins which were dated about two hundred years back.
