  1. In "the Pullins" in Captain Hamiltons estate, Brownhall, Ballintra, Co. Donegal there is a cave called the Piper's Hole.
Many years ago it is said that a Piper went round the country playing the bagpipes and going through the Pullins one day he went into this cave and was heard playing his pipes in it. But he went in too far and was never seen again. It is said that he died in it and that is why the cave is still called "the Pipers Hole".
