    Once upon a time there was a wolf in the parish of Inver.

    the animals around about the place. One day, a man named Sean O'Neill of Letterbarrow followed him on horse-back. When the wolf came to the Roose bank, he leaped into it. O'Neill leaped in after and killed him. He got great praise from the people about the place.
    The dog badger kills fowls and eats them. The pig badger wins his own harvest and builds it in a hand-shaking outside of his den.

    It is unlucky to meet a hare on the road when one's getting married. Once upon a time Pat Mc Groary and Mary O'Donnell were getting married. On the way to the Chapel, they met a hare on the road. The Bride was for turning back but the Groom would not turn so they went on. Some time after, he was killed.
