  1. Long ago on hallo’een night the maids and girls would get some grains of corn and they would say these words.
    “Hempseeds I sow thee
    My true love to know thee
    Let thee be black or let thee be white
    Let you appear in my dreams this night”
    Then they would shake the grains over the bedclothes and the man they would dream of that night would be their future husbands.
