  1. Mumps: When the father and mother of any person bear the same name that person has the cure of the mumps.
    Mr. P. McQuaid, West Port, Ballyshannon, has the cure of the mumps.
    Cut: Put (cowb) cobwebs on the cut.
    Scald, Red flannell is first burned to ashes. Then the ashes are put on the scald.
    Ericiples: Certain herbs are cut up into small pieces. Then the curer goes out and begs butter. The herbs and the butter and then minxed up and eaten by the sick person.
    The possesser of the cure makes a gift of it to the person who is next to receive it by imparting the names of the herbs to him or her.
