    The Haunted House
One day Mrs Parker was asked (was asked) to wash a house that nobody lived in for a long time She began to work one day and the first time she went into the house she was very much afraid. On the wall a lot of old shields were hanging and other things. Every time Mrs Parker looked up at one picture she thought that it always smiled at her.One night when she was asleep she thought that she saw the picture of the woman going about her room. The next day Mrs Parker heard that the house was haunted. Mrs Parker
