  1. About twenty years ago there was a fairies tree on the bottom of the flags on Dalkey Hill. There was a plot at the back of the fairies tree. One day a man was working in the plot. It was a fine day and the sun was shining on the tree. The man cut down the tree because it was keeping the sun off his plot. All the people on Dalkey Hill said that tree should not be cut down because the fairies owned the tree.From my father
