  1. The Wishing stone on Killiney hill. Many years ago a big wishing stone was erected on Killiney hill. This stone is very flat and easy to walk round. In the Summer when the visitors visit this hill they always make sure to walk around the stone and wish for something before they leave. It happened one summer that a man was here on a visit from England. He took a walk up to the hill and saw the wishing stone. At the time it is said that the man was hoping
