  2. The School on Barnhill Rd.
In Dalkey there was one old school. It was on Barnhill Road beside the forge where now stands a motor garage. Most of the older people in Dalkey went to it. The field beside it was used as a playground. There were about 70 pupils in the school. It was very badly built and the roof was slated badly.
