    The Famine Times
In the famine Times there was a great shortage of food in Dalkey. One day a ship came into Dalkey Harbour with food. No person was given any food. The food was being brought to Dublin in carts. The townpeople ran after the carts and some men got on to the cart and tossed the food out to the people.
