    14-6-38 The Wishing Stone
    The wishing stone is situated on Killiney Hill. There is a small story about it. One day there was a poor man, who always wanted money on Killliney Hill. He met a lady and asked her for a few pence. She gave him three pennies and told him to go up and wish on the stone. He had relations in America who had plenty of money. So the poor man went up to the wishing and of course wished for money. About a week after he got a letter from his uncle in America. He asked him to see him. But the poor man wrote back
