  1. O'Kelly's Orchard is in Sallynoggin not far from Barry's farm. The house is now deserted and the orchard fruitless, but there was a time when it was not so. The republicans were thinking of raiding the house and taking the money which Mr. O'Kelly possesed. But a loyal friend of his got word of the plan and informed him of it. He was in a terrible state when he heard of it so he gathered all his money and valuables and hid them. There is a long, flat outside the house and it is said that, that is where the money is hidden.
