    There are many games which are familiar to Dalkey, the most popular of which are Red Rover, Broken Statues, Hairpins, Colours, The Big Ship Sails, and The Ghosts in the Garden.
    Red Rover is played by two ranks formed by a number of children holding hands. One side calls on a child from the opposite side and if she breaks through, her side receives an extra member. If she fails to break through, she must
