  1. Dalkey I think is one of the most historic spots in Ireland. It is said to be full of hidden treasure and tunnels. Not long ago a short tunnel was discovered in Dalkey town. It was large enough for an ordinary man to go across stooping down.
    It ran under the main street, from one of the oldest establishments in Dalkey to one equally old. The names of these shops are Leahy's and O Reilly's. The tunnel is now stuffed with broken bottles as the rats frequently used it.
