  1. In Dalkey there are two Holy wells. One is near the convent and the other is on Dalkey island. The little well near the Convent is called "The Lady's Well. The well on the island is Saint Begnets Well. There is a cure in the well on island if the water is sprinkled on the part of the body.
    The passage leading to the Lady's Well is long and narrow. When you reach the end of the passage in the right hand wall is an underground passage. This passage runs under the convent grounds. It is a very dark damp tunnel as it is near the sea. Here and there in the roof of the tunnel is a small
