    Plantation
An old house on the Monkstown Road called Gortmore or Plantation, as it was called years ago was known as one of the most haunted houses in Ireland.
Periodicals offered large sums of money to any person who would stay a night in it.
People tried for the reward but in each case they were a failure. Now people live there and do not make the least comment about it.
