  1. In the yard of Orchard House Clondalkin, there stands a Yew Tree which is believed to date from the battle of Clontarf.
    Some time ago the new residents of Orchard were about to cut down the tree but on being told by some of the local people of the tradition regarding the tree they did not do so.
