  1. There was once a brother, and sister who lived together in a small farm.
They made a promise to each other, that, the one that would die first, would come back, and tell the other one, how he was going on.
The sister died first, and every night when the brother used to be going out to milk, he used to meet the sister at the gate.
The brother went to the priest about it.
The priest told him, to speak to her the next evening.
The next evening when the brother was going out to milk he met her again, and he began to talk to her.
She opened her mouth as big as a foot-ball, and she said she would swollow him only for the promise she made.
She said that she had to do penance for every time she appeared.
The brother never saw her ever afterwards.
