  1. If you leave your boots on the table there will be a fight in that house.
    If you let a knife fall and pick it up yourself it is a disappointment, or if you let it fall and does not pick it up it is a stranger coming to that house.
    If you let a fork fall it is a woman to the house, and if you let a spoon fall it is a letter to the house, and if you let a scissors fall it is priest to the house.
    If you see a mag-pie, it brings you bad luck.
    There is a rhyme about the mag-pies as follows-
    One for sorrow
    Two for joy
    Three for a girl
    Four for a boy
    Five for silver
    Six for gold
    And seven for a secret that will never be told.
