  1. There is a holy well in Lacan Co. Wicklow which is dedicated to saint Boden and situated in a bog near the chapel.
    Many people come to visit it especially those who are suffering from any disease.
    Those who are cured leave their chruches or beads after them which, are to be seen there to the present day.
    In the months of summer little fishes come there and the people feed them with crumbs but no one could catch them.
    There is a big stone wall around the well to protect it from the cattle or any other animals.
    The well is divided and the invalids wash themselves in one part of it.
    One the 15th of August the people hold a procession from Lacan chapel to the blessed well each year.

    Why does a dog turn twice before he lies down?
    Because one good turn deserves another. Ink pink under a bank ten drawn four? A man milking a cow.
    "As I went up Sallygap I met a man with a red cap a stick in his hand a stone in his belly riddle me that and I will give you a penny.? A cherry. What is it that walks up a ladder on it's head? A nail in a man's boot.
