  1. There is a great sport in catching rabbits with snares. Every morning I go out and set snares at the mouth of a burrow. This is how the snares are made. You get a small stick and a thin piece of wire. Then you make a loop with the wire, and tie it to the stick, and peg the stick to the ground. When the rabbit comes out to look for food, he gets caught in it,and when he begins to tug and pull to set himself free, the loop tightens around his neck.
