    First you make two holes with a ring round each hole; and then one of the boys shoots his marble into the ring and then another boy shoots his marble and if he gets his marbles inside the ring he has to shoot at the other lad's marble. If he hits his marble he will own it, and they keep on like that until all the marbles are lost or won.
