    12. Whittle
    A cure for a whittle is to dip it in potato water while they are boiling and try and bear it as hot and as long as you can, and it will soon heal.
    13. Ringworm
    You get some gun-powder and mix it with lemon juice. Then you rub the mixture into the sore and it will soon be cured.
