    This is an old cure for mumps. An ass is got, and two women pass the person with the mumps under the ass's stomach several times and the person is cured.
    Sore Eyes:
    An old cure for sore eyes is, get a gooseberry thorn and point it at them every morning for nine mornings, and it will get better. Another cure for sore eyes is to poultice them with tea-leaves or bathe them in tea.
    Warts:
    A cure for warts is to dip them in the water that the Blacksmith cools irons in, and
