  1. On Hallow Eve night long ago it is said that when the people where going to bed they used to leave a glass of water, a couple of handfuls of nuts, and orange and an apple on the table. Then at midnight the good people came and take everything that was on the table. When my granny was alive she used to put them on the table but she did not tell whether they took them off the table or not.
