  1. Here is an old trick, put an nail in the ceiling, then hang a piece of twine out of it. Then put an apple on the end and put treacle on the apple. Then tie the players hands behind his back. Whoever gets the first bit gets a shilling or sixpence. I tried plenty of times but could not get a bite.
