The Lucan Golf LInk, beside the Spa Hotel, extending over 40 acres of undulating ground are enlarged and improved under the advice of Mr. Cecil Barcroft, of the Royal Dublin Club in one of the best nine-hole courses in the country. Hotel visitors are entitled to use the links for a nominal charge of 1/ per day, or 2/6 per week. A description of the Links appeared in the Irish Field of July 11th, 1908 and the following are extracts from the articles Journal. The course has been altered and improved since the article appeared, particularly the second hole, which has been lengthened, also the third and fourth holes.
    "The course is a little on the short side, but the sporting character makes up for this. The hazards are artificial bunkers, fences, roads, streams, and a large quarry. The
