    was taken up and thrown down to the other end of the room. The other man had no light so he went to the house belonging to the lodge and asked for a light, he got a torch. When he came back, he could not see his friend anywhere in the lodge, so he commenced to search for him, but it was not until he went outside that he saw him lying among the flowers! Since then the man who was thrown out of the house has died. He was a Protestant. These stories are true for they come from the lips of the people they concern.
    Nobody knows what is the meaning of the two black animals often seen on the road. They were seen by a woman eight years ago and before that three men saw them at different times. One man tried to shoot them. They are somewhat like a cow, but even longer. They have very thin
