    faithful seem alive to the soul - stirring words of his beautiful and historical address to them. What a change! In the old dark days there was a tumult amongst the non-Catholics of Lucan at the sound of the chapel bell. They resolved that the bell should come down, but an amendment was carried that as the bell was so faint in its tinkling, it should be tolerated.
